Katie Meyer, MD
Special Clinical Interests: Preventative Medicine, Newborn Care, Nutrition
Why I Became a Medical Provider: I chose pediatrics as my profession because of my love for children in combination with the innate ability it affords to effect change at the earliest point in a person’s life. I truly enjoy being a part of my patients’ development into healthy, happy adults. I look forward to forming long term relationships with my new patients and their parents.
Philosophy of Care: I feel that it is important to treat all of my patients with compassion and patience; I take the time to ensure complete understanding and to answer all questions fully. I treat my patients’ physical, mental, social and developmental health in the context of their families and community.
Personal Interests and Hobbies: I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, animals and nature.
Community Involvement: During my residency I was involved in much community outreach and advocacy programs for children. I am new to the Central Valley of California, but plan to become an active member of this community. See you out there!
